About

About Me

Like many voices, I started my career in audio production.

From 2005, I worked for a leading well-respected audio production company and online based voice agency. As a producer, , I spent my time writing, producing, directing and co-ordinating commercial and corporate voice over projects. . From production through to performance, I gained a lot of industry knowledge in these positions.

Sometimes, a project cropped up which that needed an extra voice (but with no extra budget)! Over time, these bit part jobs became paid jobs.

In 2010, I stepped away from full- time production and became a full- time Voice Over Artist in 2010.

Since then, I have voiced 1000s of projects for clients such as Princess Yachts, NBC, United Nations, MINI and Microsoft.

In 2019, I began studying with renowned voiceover teacher Nancy Wolfson.

Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with brands such as NBC, Fujitsu, MINI, Shell, Nescafe and the World Bank.

My style is best described as contemporary, conversational and caringfresh, natural and conversational, with a very subtle native UK West ccCountry lilt (Devonshire, to be precise). I can perform a variety of styles including warm, caring, cool, enthusiastic, friendly and authoritative.

I do most jobs from my home studio, which features a floating acoustic ceiling, bass traps and rockwool panels. My microphone is a Neuman u87ai which goes clean into a Presonus Studio 1824 interface. I use a Mac Mini M1 which is ethernet connected to fibre broadband for live sessions such as ipDTL, Cleanfeed, etc.

Alongside voice work, I’ve also produced, written and acted in comedy productions for BBC Radio Devon, Radio Plymouth and Birthday Alarm.

That’s enough about me, what about you? Please do get in touch to discuss your needs!
